First visits to the dentist vary depending on the age of your child. Typically a child's first dental appointment should be between 6 months and 2 years old at the latest.

First appointments go more smoothly if scheduled with a parent or older sibling.

A first visit may include a full exam of the teeth, jaws, bite, gums and oral tissues so we can track growth and development. They may also require a gentle cleaning to remove any plaque or tartar buildup.

For your first appointment please bring:

• Patient information form
• Dental insurance card (if applicable)
• Patient health history form
• ID, either drivers, military, or state
• HIPAA consent form
• Patient authorization form

Approximately 1 hour in duration.

Yes, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to fill out any remaining paperwork.
